A message from Georgia Republican Party Chairman Josh McKoon

David Shafer and the other contingent Republican electors in Georgia are patriots who love this country and did absolutely nothing wrong. 

The fact that they have been harassed, threatened and now indicted by Fulton District Fani Willis is an assault on the First Amendment and the rule of law.

The delegates to the 2023 State Convention of the Georgia Republican Party unanimously adopted a resolution thanking David Shafer for his service as Chairman, denouncing the politically motivated investigations of him and pledging our unwavering support.

We have set up a website, www.electortruth.com, to combat the false and outrageous media narrative casting David Shafer as a "fake elector" and traitor to our country.

David Shafer did the right thing. He asked questions. He pointed out problems. He exercised the First Amendment rights promised to each of us. He did so bravely, honorably and with integrity.

We must stand with him.
